Lana Rose is a wordsmith, Jersey Girl, and paramour of concrete and trees. She has been writing poetry and short stories for over two decades and performing as a spoken word artist since 2000. Her work has been featured on sites such as Embrace the Positive and Jersey City Independent. As a journalist, she has written for the Hudson Reporter, Jersey City Magazine, Palisade Magazine, and 07030 Magazine.
Her published collections of poetry include Guerilla Poet Tree and Rain & Concrete.
A graduate of Lehigh University with a background in business and community development, Lana has produced a variety of artistic and cultural events. She currently hosts Wordsmithing Unplugged, a roving open forum experience in Jersey City, NJ.
